CCNA Cookbook. When you can explain it, THEN you know it.

100-105 CCENT Study Resources

Chapter Resources

These resources, no matter their source, are organized along the lines of the current official certification guide, written by Wendell Odom and published by Cisco Press in 2016. Nothing on this site is official or endorsed; company names and trademarks are mentioned merely to factually acknowledge the role of those companies in standardizing and advancing the mentioned technologies.

Work in Progress

This is a work in progress. Here's my current todo list. To be honest though, I'll be working on the CCNA page and the three CCNP pages (Route, Switch, and Troubleshoot), first.

Certification

When you've mastered both this material and the CCNA (200-105) material, you can either take both exams or the single combined (200-125) exam to earn the traditional "Routing and Switching" CCNA certification. You can also use the CCENT by itself as a prerequisite for some of the newer CCNA certifications, like Security. Check the Cisco website to find the certification that's right for you. You might not even need a CCENT. For example, the CCNA in Collaboration (IP Telephony and Video Conferencing) doesn't require it.
